I've just taken delivery of my first TVR a 1993 Chimeara 430 .I have a battery problem and I'm worried that if it goes flat before I can change it, that I may be locked out of the car.Having read in this forum about others locked out, I also need to know how to get into the car when the central locking is inactive. I appreciate that the answer cannot be set out in open forum for obvious reasons but can somebody e.mail me with the answer jack@mgman50.freeserve.co.uk

If I promise not to be amused at others in the future, could someone tell me offline how to get into the car

Jack, IMHO don't think your going to get many replies on this post,
Member for 12 days and your first post, is how to gain entry to a locked car!

Might be advisable in the first instance to get a copy of Steve Heaths "Bible" does give some insight into your question.
The other benefit of this book is that it will also tell you how to strip your car down, and more importantly how to put it back together again.
