Well,

It had to happen.

Evo magazine asked for a bit of help with the following line-up... extreme (road) TVR's :

450 SEAC
Griffith 200 (4.7 V8..)
Sagoris

The sagoris looked very impressive .. much better in the flesh than picures do for it ..

Racing Green had 'sold' 12 already ... so I'd be fairly sure the development to road car phase could pass quite quickly. It was not really road ready - not allowed to start it but it was tempting as I had the keys in my dirty mits ... also it was wearing slicks which rubbed in the wheel arches .. which does look good in photos though .. also there was no petrol filler cap .. just the neck to the tank in the boot.

So - I'm sure Griffith owners would be happy with that !

The Griffith 200 - was an animal - just a race car really - it arrived clean on a trailer - drove a few miles .. needed a mechanic ..

Bit more water.. more attention then back onto it's trailer for the short trip home ...

Mean while the SEAC was as good as gold

Drove 60 miles there and 60 mile back .. no problems.

The guys from EVO were great fun .. John Barker (Co Editor) or Kenny P (Photo's) were excellent .. JB was as sad for TVR facts as I am .. that's the Rover 77mm box is it not .. JB you need to get out more !

Hopefully all good publicity for Wedge's ...

Good news well done Rev - guess I'll have to by EVO now. Glad I'm keeping the 420 now.
Mind I've had a guy in New York still chasing.

It will be the next issue ... they work to very tight dead lines.

Can't wait to see it but it was a shame it came up in the winter - as I'm adding my performance mods about now and they would have shown the SEAC in a better light.

Can't wait to see the car in print !

Haven't seen Evo for a while - used to get it when it was just out of date!

I feel it was probably the most authoritative car magazine on the market - they say what they think. It sort of picked up where Car magazine left off. Indeed some of the journos are ex Car people. Hope it is still the same.

I'll get a copy when it come out.

Yes - it is probably the best car magazine available.

John Barker said he worked for Car .. someone - mentioned the editor was leaving Car ..
