Couldn't fault the left, right front or anything in the suspension, but the right back looked down in pressure. Yep, 17 PSI, a ding on the inside lip of the steel wheel, & a lump in the tyre. How the hell did she curb that?
It must be the season for it. I used the missus car two weeks ago as hers was first in the drive and I was only popping out for ten minutes. I never even made it through the gates before I knew something wasn't right, I asked her had she noticed anything strange to which she assured me it was fine and NO she hadn't bashed it.

Five minutes later this is what I was looking at.

Yup. Nothing wrong there.

Looks like it needs a bit more air to even it all out.

Wow!! Just Wow!!!

That's terrifying, must have been so close to letting go.

The thought of that driving towards me at 60mph frightens me!

Last time I saw something similar (but not quite that bad) it was a Goodyear Eagle. The wrong pothole at the wrong angle and it'll ruin any tyre.

They sort of do, but it's not used for astronauts, AFAIK...

If unsure should always try diesel first as the nozzle won't fit in a petrol filler. This alway struck me as weird as diesel in a petrol car does nothing except need draining, whereas petrol in a diesel causes a mini meltdown.

This system has always annoyed me too. How hard would it have been to design two mutually incompatible nozzles rather than a one-way key?!

Isn't it the other way around? (don't know for certain, just asking smile)

Phht, doesn't matter what hole they made someone would still manage it. Think that it was on here (and I think it was a bloke) that someone explained how they aimed the flow of fuel through the hole because the nozzle wouldn't fit. silly

Surely the correct answer is 'It's a Hybrid, it will run on either'

Huh? I've put petrol in a diesel to thin in out in cold weather. (OK, I was using chipfat) and it was fine.
Certainly wouldn't want to put diesel oil through a petrol injection system...

You think petrol is the same as chip fat!?
Petrol in a modern high pressure common rail diesel system is a big no.
