The Great Breakfast photo thread

A mate and I went out drinking on Thursday night so I had a stinking hangover at work on Friday. After struggling through for about 2 hours I finally caved in and sent the apprentice to the cafe to get me some recovery food.
The picture doesn't do it justice. It was bloody massive and I actually felt a bit sick after wolfing it down!

Ventured up north to Brum on the weekend. Chomped a big English brekkie Sunday morning with double smoked bacon, beans, double sausages, hashbrown, mini fried mushrooms, tinned tommies, and runny fried egg. Mopped up with white toast and cheap marge. And a big mug of tea. From a greasy caff. All for 3 quid and 10 pence. No idea how they make a profit, but it tasted immense. Scene looked vaguely similar to this

All looks very good. I just have a slight issue with those undercooked hash browns. That's a huge plate of food.

Lol, not sure what happened with the hash browns, they didn't colour up at all. To be honest, it's not that huge, I think the picture may be deceiving. The sausages are chipolatas, there's only 4 mushrooms, it's really not that enormous. Compare the plate to the fork next to it, might add a bit of perspective. Don't talk yourself down - good effort - surely saw you through until tea time?

Massive red wine hangover this morning, and three kids under 6 to contend with so....
Chicken fried off with onions, garlic, tomatoes and birds eye chillies. Mixed herbs, ground cumin and salt to taste. Diced boiled potatoes and chopped spring onions in at the end. Fried egg on top. Washed down with a pot of fresh coffee and about 4 litres of orange juice.
Bit of a faff but well worth it. Fan-bloody-tastic!!
