Very much this. I hate to be negative but I can take it or leave it at the moment. Same old situations that don't work anymore. Most of the episode was generally meh. Living on past glories, how in hell they are going to make it last another n seasons.

It was unfunny which, considering it is a comedy makes it a fail.
You really do get the impression that all involved are going through the motions for the money now.
Apart from Parsons, the spark has gone out of the delivery.
They desperately need funny writers and get their passion back.
I really hope they prove me wrong.

It's personal taste, you saying 'No it wasn't' is just your view of one persons moment. I though it wasn't stunning, but it had its funny moments while needing to get everyone together again.You say 1st in series like they haven't had much experience of this and need the practice.
