Hi I've got a live axle caterham with a quaife lsd fitted.
I wondered if there is a way that I can check whether the lsd
is functional without taking out the car?

Err, jack one back wheel off of the ground and see if you can turn it?

Ok, wheel is spinning freely when car is jacked up on one side. Accounts for poor handling. Guess I better get the axle off.

Doing doughnuts might well be the only way to test the lsd. Phoned Quaife, the wheels are supposed to spin freely if the car is jacked on one side. Apparently there is no easy way to tell if its working.
