Hi.
I'm looking at buying a 2006 CLK & one of the spec codes is 666 SPECIAL PACKAGING,

Can any one help to explain what this means ?

Thanks
John.

Sorry John,

Just found this.

May be worth a look here http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~mtor/mbcodedsc.html

Bit complicated, but possible it's the 10 hole alloys?

I'm not going to guess though, leave you to decide smile

wouldnt think it was 10 hole alloys on an 06 car..

is it an avantgarde or elegance? what engine?

it is not an option code i recognise as "common" (I use to work for MB) so wonder if it is one of the "market area / shipping" codes used for different markets i.e. uk / eu / use etc.

The option codes are confusing as the info you get about them is often badly translated from German or another language.

The info I have for opt. code 666 is "Prod. prot. f. freight pkging w/o tie-down hooks" if that helps..

That is a very rare option. The climate control is permanently set to very hot and it has a ski hatch adapted to take tridents.
