Seen this in the Classifieds -

Thoughts on it; price-wise and the like?
I quite fancy a Vintage and it appeals to me in an IWC-like way. smile

He says the watch has been refurbished Which is good, but for my personal tastes the face is far too new looking, I like my vintage watches with a bit of patina.

Price seems a little on the cheap side to me....

Exactly what I was thinking... I did try and find one online but Googling turned nothing up...

I do quite like the look of it. smile

There is one similar looking watch on there, but unfortunately no price as it is on hold.

Any further thoughts?

Must stop looking at watches!!

I see there is a very similar looking example to the one in my OP, albeit a military model. Very nice! smile

Think that the price looks good, but you should think about the size. Most modern recreations (such as the Heuer Carrera) are much bigger than they were in period because of changing fashions. At 33mm, it'll look like a kid's timex unless you've got tiny, tiny wrists.

Was just thinking that.
I do have very slim wrists, but I think even that may well be lost on me... frown
Shame because I rather like it!
