W124 Bonnet Star

Hello chaps

Hope you can help, some toe rag ripped mine bonnet star out last week. I have ordered a replacement but despite searching can't work out how I will fit it. Mine is the 1995 model which doesn't seem to have the wing type screw on the other side. Instead it seems to be a complex arrangement of springs etc. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
