Does anyone know a good Omega watch repair/service company around the High Wycombe bucks area. The stop watch reset button has broken and I need to get it repaired.

In theory, if you send it off for an official Omega service it will get replaced within the cost of the service. My pressure release button fell off of my TI chrono and it was replaced within the service cost.

Sadly, its £185 (IIRC) and takes 8 weeks+ or so. I dropped it off straight at the shop in New Bond St, but any pukka Omega dealer should be able to process this. Ring the Bond St shop for a quote and then see if the local dealers is any different.

The service gives a 24 month guarantee too, as some recompense and it will come back like new.

I got my Seamaster fully serviced earlier this year here:

www.swisstimeservices.co.uk

Excellent service although pricey at £180. They are Omega's official service company for the UK and so have to charge what Omega says (much cheaper for my Porsche Design chrono to be serviced here).

I took the watch there, met an "engineer" had a chat, got a quote, and had the watch back within a week.
