How much are black faced SS daytonas fetching atm?
Discussion
Hi folks, I'm toying with the idea of selling my beloved Rolex and maybe my IWC for something a bit different and to pocket a few quid towards a bike deposit, what're the daytonas selling for these days, specifically the black faced stainless steel ones?
It's in excellent condition, near perfect really.

Stu,
I'd say go onto ebay, sign in and then check the 'Completed' listings for a huge range of sold and unsold prices. That should give a good 'weather-vane' ballpark. The fact that you can walk into dealers in the US and pick one up now doesn't help the inflated prices asked for...
Seriously? I've been looking into one of these as I've promised myself one for my 30th next year. Pretty much every official place I've spoken to has said either 'you're wasting your time looking' or 'No problem, we can put you on a list and get you one in 2 years'.I'd say go onto ebay, sign in and then check the 'Completed' listings for a huge range of sold and unsold prices. Still, it'll be a long time before they're readily available in the UK at AD's.
I honestly think they've had their day - I turned down 2 from a dealer in Barcelona - and anyway there are rumours of a brand new Daytona coming out with a bigger case. (Hopefully a less shiny bezel too).
