Christ, you don't actually see them that often well except for me....
I am a Volvo fanboy, having had quite a few in the past! I seem to spot them everywhere smile

Nice R BTW, I've commented in the other thread - I'm sure I've seen you about, where abouts in W. Sussex are you?

Theres a guy on my cul-de-sac with:
- a classic mini cooper
-a jag xk
--a jag xj6
- and a load of classic bikes (at least 10) including a BSA goldstar which makes the most amazing noise!

everyone else on the road is about as un-PH as it gets

I know. My BMW is parked directly opposite his and I was tempted to whack a VXR badge on the back of it as a means of mockery, but I thought better of it as he's a thoroughly reasonable chap.

Not yet, not sure what the plan is. Might be up for sale in the spring, or failing that end of summer.

I live down a country road, but have two immediate neighbours who have shocking cars, as far as PH appeal goes.

One neighbour used to have "his" and "hers" KIA 4x4s, now reduced to a "his" 4x4 as the new "her" doesn't drive.

The other neighbour has a bunch of cars - all crap!
Ford Sorcpio 2 litre - the last of the Granada shape.
There's a 2 litre Hyundia coupe, a Mk1 MR2 and a mid-90s MR2 non-turbo (?Mk2). Now these wouldn't be too bad if they hadn't insisted on adding very big and VERY loud chav exhausts to them!
Then there is a standard R-reg Ford Escort, a diesel Peugeot 205 Diesel with big alloys and a loud exhaust
Finally in their list of cars is a Citroen 2CV field car, which their 15 year old son is learning to drive in!

Most interesting are

Two classic VW GTI's (same house) A Mk1 and a Mk2

Pheaton (sounds like a V6)

C 55 Amg

Rs4 Avant

Astra VXR

Couple of TT's

My Z4

Then we have lots of X5's infact every other house, Civics, Minis and rather strangely several A class Mercs?????

Not many BMW's(other than X5's) either and plently of vans and diesel snotters.

On my dads road cars don't matter much, it's all about the helicopters.

One guy has 4 white cars, absolutely hilarious. 997 Turbo, S2000 and 2 others I can't remember. Next door neighbours have Z3 and a Z4 one side, then on the other a Porsche Carrera 2S 996 (I think, haven't seen it for a while), Mini, Audi A3. A couple doors down there are 2 Jags.

Nothing really worth noticing other than the 997 frown

My road is populated by a bunch of moody old coffin-dodgers, so theres a high percentage of OAP-mobiles. One old dear had a Puma though, then she got rid and is now in a BMW Z4. Riveting stuff.

My Chimaera, a Porsche Cayman, an E-class AMG Estate (debadged, stealthy, but sounds awesome!) a Q7, a Z4M, and about 300 non-descript repmobiles/familywagons/euroboxes/runabouts. Shockingly poor for the 200 or so houses.

Not much of interest round here.

We live in a cul-de-sac surrounded by retired people, but there is a guy a couple of doors down with an E30 325 estate. The rest of the road consists of a couple of Rovers, Hyundai Getz, Suzuki Ignis, a few base model Volvo V40 and V70 diesel) and one house has no less than four metallic blue Ford Kas!

There is one house round the corner with an XK8 and a mk2 MX5, and another with a Porsche 964 Carrera though.

Very Un-PH really. There is a bike hidden away in a garage too, no idea what it is though.
Also think I'm the only person in the street that washes the cars themselves too. Everyone elses either has many years of dirt layered up or comes back from Tesco looking cleaner than it went.
