A certain shop in Norwich are stopping selling IWC watches and they are offering 25% off of what they have left. They had a couple of Ingenours, Classic Pilot and a Portofino. Was very tempted by the Portofino in Rose Gold at £3.5k.

Assume this is Winsor Bishop, I was in there on Monday this week and nothing was mentioned, Actually purchased my last two IWC from them, One of them was in a sale last Jan and that had around 45% off list price. Any ideas what brand they are replacing with ?

Wow! Just checked out their website and if they have all the items listed on it, there will be some bargains to be had alright!!

I was in The Watch Gallery on the Fulham Road recently too and they had some IWC Ingenieurs discounted too as they are also no longer an AD. I wonder if this reflects a new policy from IWC to limit their distribution...?

I think it is, as you wouldn't swap it for Bremont.....

They only had about 5 watches left so not a great deal of choice.

On a side note, I was looking in their window this morning and they had a display of Patek Phillipe watches there. This is the first time I've had a close look at these watches and I have to say I wasn't very impressed!
I'm sure they're powered by the tears of virgin nuns from a Tibetan monastery, but £13k for a watch that look like a base line Seiko is a bit much!

13k is probably the cheap entry models too, although I think they are very beautiful, if I can ever buy one new for about 20K I will finally feel as though I have made it smile
