Gassing 'What's New' a little behind the times

I tend to use the 'What's New' link to see new threads. Over the last couple of days (I've not been back to the Forum for a few days) 'What's New' appears to be displaying new threads from the time I first visited the site on the day, rather than updating with new items posted since I first visited.

I can see more recent items (those posted since I started visiting the site today) using the 'Last 24 Hours' link.

Does this make sense - very difficult to describe succinctly! Or is it just that the electrons take longer to reach PH central from San Francisco ....

Nothing has changed in that department. It resets the counter the first time you visit the main Gassing Station page and stores that for the next occasion. Ahh, I can't explain it properly but I think it is working correctly. I blame San Francisco.
