Looking for a new watch with around £100 - £150 budget. Have browsed this forum and noticed the Werner website.

Currently i have this:

Maybe not to everyones taste but for a cheap(ish) watch it looks and feels really nice. Keeps fantastic time and i wanted one with the "busy" face.

I would like another watch for day to day use, but would like something alot plainer. Either silver or black (strap and face) but not brown. I looked and quite liked this:

Doesnt have to be a Werner one if anyone else has any other recommendations...

I've got an Astroavia and like it for everyday wear. I would say look around though. Werners are not cheap for these. I picked mine up from ebay - seller in Germany, all in original case with guarantee and both metal and leather strap for not much more than £60.

Agree with above, get a Seiko, a Citizen or one of the Rotary Edition watches currently heavily reduced on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rotary-Editions-300B-Stain...

Having a Werners and a Seiko Monster gives me the right to an opinion I guess. Forget Werners; buy a Monster. One is fun but the build quality isn't there so it won't last, the other is tough as old boots and will last a lifetime. Well within your budget too.
