Watch back damage when being repaired.
Discussion
Hi All
A few years ago I sent off a TAG watch to TAG for repair. It came back with a number of tiny little marks on the watch back like someone had tapped it with a tiny little hammer. I nearly returned it but it had been away for so long I decided against it.
I have just taken another watch to an independent repairer who removed and refitted the back. Same thing again, little dings on the back of the watch.
Am I right in thinking it is some sort of press that is causing this phenomenon and am I being overly picky being bothered by it?
Manks
