Hi, I'm not a watch expert so please bear with me. I am looking for a cheap (<£100) attractive watch. Something along the lines of the 'designer' automotive/motorsport watches advertised in the likes of Classic and Sportscar (but without the price tag), or along the lines of the sorts of things car manufacturers offer in glass cabinets next to the parts department. Brand is unimportant as long as the quality's OK. I just want something I can wear, leave off the household insurance, and tell the time with.

Any recommednations?

Thanks.

Maybe a bit over your budget, but a very nice watch for the money.

I bought the C7 Rapide a few weeks back for £185 and I'm very pleased with it.

I really like the C70 - but at that price, it's a no no for me.

CW were brilliant at their original price point, now they have some established competition at their new higher prices.

For that budget I'd be getting myself onto ebay for something like a Honda F1 Seiko like this or this- even though they're not in motorsport anymore

Seiko +1. Just look on Ebay and work on price. Whether you buy automatic or quartz you'll get a good valeue for money watch. A lot of us have bought from here without a problem:-

There's also JustSeiko who sell on Ebay too and who are also reliable.
