Manual winding an automatic Tag Aquaracer?
Discussion
I received a arther nice TH Aqauaracer automatic for christmas, but did not wear it for the first time this weekend. This morning I reset the time, give it a quick wobble and put it on, all is fine.
I've had a digital or battery watch since I was about 10 years old, so not sure what the protocol is with them. Reading through the manual I know it has a manual wind on the first click of the crown, but can it be overwound, or is this no longer a problem with modern watches?
Also, how many hours of wearing it is needed to fully wind it automatically? So far, wearing it for 12 hours will keep it ticking over for the next 12 hours or so I'm not wearing it, but looking at the time it stopped on saturday against the time I took it off suggests it was only 20 hours, the manual suggests up to 38hours. The date hadn't changed so I know it was within the same day.
