Hi chaps

Having stumbled across this forum earlier in the week I have convinced myself that a pre owned watch would be a sensible treat.

Where am I best to look? Anywhere in the South / London works. Not after anything especially rare, considering a range of options from a 2 year old Rolex to a Vintage Omega, budget circa 2K.

Cheers for any suggestions,
James

Have a look at:

http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/for_sale.htm
www.tz-uk.com (You'll need 25 posts to see the sales forum)

Try those first smile

I'd be interested to know how many people have purchased at an auction house (i.e. not e-bay).

I recently bought a pre-owned GMT from Second Time Round in London.

Great sales service but they're taking their sweet time sorting out its timekeeping...

I've recently bought a nice LV Sub and 2 x Maurice Lacroix masterpieces from www.fitzroviawatches.co.uk and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Gray's Antique market by Bond St tube is goos. Someone has already mentioned SecondTimeRound who have a stall in there but for the more exclusive vintage stuff check out Collected at the back. I bought a 1929 Patek plus a few other bits and bobs from Paul in there and highly recommend him.

I recently bought a Rolex from watches.co.uk also called swisswatches. A Southern/London based internet company who do allow viewings at their premises.
They are a little pricier than some of the competition I believe, but they have very high standards regards quality of each timepiece they purchase and then sell on and the watch I bought was testament to this reputation as it was totally immaculate and fully complete.
As a company they seem to be very well respected (from what I have read) on the various watch forums and I would happily buy from them again.
