Incoming?

I've been on a bit of a buying frenzy recently. Think I'm suffering from S.A.D and needed a bit of retail therapy hehe

These should all land at Chez Dog within the next few days:

NOS vintage Citizen

Same again, different style:

Parnis Big Pilot in black PVD:

Vintage West End Watch Co. :

Orient Blue Mako:

Alpha PO-a-like:

Alpha GMT Master-a-like

Finally, Orange Monster:

Also, I'm going getting this at weekend as I have a gift voucher for a jewellers in town hehe

Breil chronograph:

So... what've you been shopping for?

Wow nine watches incoming ND! Lucky you I like the west end one, different.

My Wife is 30 on Sunday and I've been hunting for a 1980 Omega for her for a while, couldn't find one but found this and it'll hopefully be here in the morning http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am... Apparently they're new old stock, guy phoned my Wife after she emailed him via the bay to discuss the watch with her. He also refused to accept any extra postage costs to get it here tomorrow as it's her birthdaycool How's that for service considering she'd already knocked him down £25 on the price!

I'm still waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting... for JLC in Switzerland to finish messing about with my watch and send it back to me frown

But I'm *really* enjoying the BHI tourbillon I got for Christmas... I thought it'd be either novelty-value or 'not as good as it looked in the pictures' - but hell no, it's bloody marvellous. And it's my most accurate mechanical watch...

Sadly finances (and that JLC) mean I'm *selling* watches, not acquiring new ones... but that's OK as I had too many to start with smile

Where did you get the Blue Mako from?? I've been looking for one of those off and on for the best part of 6 months, but don't want to pull the trigger for a US sourced one...

I just paid over the score for this:

It's a 1962 one which means it is (a) rare, and (b) the same age as me. smile

Nice Parnis, my favourite out of that bunch!
Nothing incoming to date.
Thinking about ordering Nomos Tangente Date watch, but not sure if i can justify the cost of one right now. Stowa Antea appeals too.
Decisions, decisions...

In don't know as I've never had topay it. I wouldn't guess very much though.

It will be marked either as "Gift" or "Watch parts for repair" and I've bought at least ten previously this way with no issues. smile

Should be zero, most sellers tend to put low value/gift declarations, i find.
