She is called Katara, http://www.superyachttimes.com/yachts/details/1959... a seriously big lump of boat.

Assume they were waiting for someone to board as there was quite a number of cars lined up and people stood round it waiting for five hours - they were still standing around when I left
As I always used to say, "Hurry up and wait!"

Thanks. I see its another Al Thani boat - maybe they were they were together (or maybe they just have so many boats they were in the same place by coincidence)

I am not a huge fan of mega yachts as I think most of them look pretty ugly......but that is a bit special.

Just to put her size into perspective, that's a 135ft boat passing her bows.
House in the background is Mum's.
wow - if ever there was an Imperial Cruiser vs Super Star Destroyer moment in real life...

Parked next to 'Venus' in Barcelona three weeks ago, got a couple of pics on my 'phone that I'll upload when I get chance.

Venus is Steve Jobs' (or at least, would have been) leaky old tub.

Having my usual sneaky read of Boat International in WH Smiths yesterday (is there any other publication on sale to make you realise just how much wealth there is in the world and how little of it belongs to you?) and Eddie Jordan had a column in it.

I didn't realise that Chris Evans bought Jordan's previous 34m Sunseeker, Snapper. Apparently that's the reason Jordan's new 155 Sunseeker isn't called Snapper as Chris Evand wouldn't change the name as he thought it bad luck.

I guess that's where Evans' proceeds from the 250 GTO went. What do we think that would go for? £15M?

Lovely looking boat though.

Jordan confirmed he also owns the 88 foot Oyster 'Lush' and a 53 foot Sunseeker in addition to the 155. Not exaclty Abramovich but a great collection.

They are on a Around the World trip with Lush. Part of the Oyster Owners Rally, I think.

Nowhere near £15M. In Feb the price was reduced by a £1m to £4.9m.

Lush is a lovely boat. All I would need for family sailing.
Currently for sale for £5m + TAX.

Ony about £2m. I have moored next to her a few times, lovely boats, sort of a pearlescant mid blue hull and TVR style reflex purple spars

Indeed, remember seeing her when she was new and their flagship at the Southampton boat show, way back. I also saw her as a drunken student when she was moored up in Cardiff bay. I personally think the hull colour is a little inappropriate... I wouldn't fancy touching it up and I do wonder what it looks like now.
Each to their own I guess smile

Moored next to her a few months ago. TBH the hull still looks like new.

Saw these three a couple of weeks ago in Vittoriosa, Malta.

Not up on boats to know where they fall in terms of £60million, but i wouldn't say no to any of them.

I see Snapper is back up for sale again at just under £5M. Seems a lot of boat for the money considering some of the other stuff on the market and considering his new 155' was reportedly north of £30M.

I'd rather Lush as well though.
