this is my Alfa Romeo 156 1.9JTD 16V-Multijet

Own her since October last year and love every mile I drove.
Price was good, so I took her, replaced some parts (upper and lower wishbones of course) and still have some small things to do.

Have fond memories of this. First car I ever bought. Alfa GTV. I modded it with quad exhaust pipes and a huge rear spoiler (before the V6 version came out). Alloys are 17 inch Momos.

Those momos actually suit the GTV quite well, but that spoiler....

Saying that, you should have seen the mods on my first car so I mustn't judge hehe

Here's our new Spyder just bought this week, paintwork is peeling so gone for a respray.

Bought it almost by accident, was looking at a BMW Z3 but OH could not get in or out with roof down due to her disability. She just happened to see the sorry looking Alfa tucked away at the back of the lot and decided to try it for size. No problems accessing the Alfa.

Have bills for almost 10 grand spent on it, that is excluding any bills we don't have as there are none from the early days when presumably it was maintained at a main agent to keep the warranty up.

We paid a tenth of that. Just needs a few minor thinks fixing (glovebox lid catches worn so it flies open on bumps, rattle from battery compartment shelf lid, again probably catch) and is good to go. Engine is lovely and smooth. Due to the bargain price we can respray Alf and still are within budget biggrin

Hood was renovated using Renovo Hood cleaner and protector kit and now looks like new. Alloys not been curbed and have cleaned up a treat.

On the one day we could put the top down this week it was glorious smile

By no means perfect, and a work in progress, here is my 2003 3.0 V6:

A quad exhaust and finishing off the red engine paint are the next immediate jobs.
