E46 M3. Help please.

Where o where can i get a 1:18th model of a BMW E46 M3.
Has to be road car.
Would also like E46 M3 race car but not the GTR version.

Kyosho make the regular street version & the csl. Not sure about race versions though, I think only the gtr was made this is by minichamps.

That Kyosho one looks good, and my quest for a 1:18 car continues. It has to be one with the right wheels though for me.

Closest I've found so far was a dakar yellow 1:24 model on ebay (did they ever do a dakar e46?). The quality of the model isn't anything much better than a £5 Toys'r'us toy, but after a dismantle, and a blow over with a rattle can of Carbon Black that I had filled to paint a new headlight washer, and it looks pretty cool sat infront of the TV.



The finish isn't perfect up close, and I really should paint the wheels black now that my real cars wheels are black too ..... Maybe a job for a rainy day if I can find a humbrol gloss black somewhere around the garage

I have a lovely Silver Autoart model - great detailing and quality.

Unfortunatly i've just discovered that they've discontinued the model - you may still get one in stock somewhere though...

I have an AutoArt CSL. It is astonishingly detailed, right down the alcantara interior and tread pattern. Was not that expensive either. Bought it second hand though, so sorry I can't help with any stores.

Autoart did versions of the Road car in various colours.

Both Kyosho and Autoart did versions of the CSL. Mine is a Black Autoart which I got a few years back from the states as it was NLA over here.



Both Autoart and Minichamps did versions of the GTR. Mine is a Minichamps one I got from a BMW Dealer.

Kyosho version of E46 M3(road car) is a bit better than AutoArt one. Much more ralistic. The Auto Art version seems to be narow. It looks like an avarage E46 coupe. Kyosho has Carbon Black!! It looks really good. I would search for it on german Ebay. It might cost 60-80 Euros. (Sorry for my poor english!)
