watches stolen
Discussion
Hi all, not sure if such a thing exists but had a break-in last night in which they took the car but they also took 7 watches.
I have the serial numbers so was wondering if any of the manufacturers operate a register to register stolen pieces? In particualr an IWC,Panerai and 2 Omegas went.
Don't expect to get them back but would like to make it difficult for anybody to move them on.
Thanks

It's also worth e-mailing the factory to report them. You'll need a crime reference number to confirm their loss. If they're ever submitted for service, they should be retained and you should be informed.
Sorry to hear of your loss.....

I've already contacted IWC directly and they've been helpful and have sent me a form.
I'll also call the UK branches to register the theft as you've suggested. As I said, I'm not expecting them back but just want to make it hard for the thieving scum to shift them.
