After extensive market research of Excalibur owners (Sammy Davies Junior and Liberace) and Panther Deville owners (Cruella D'ville and Oliver Reed),the Barffori design dept forgot to take into account two thirds were dead and the other one doesn't exist and made a car for them anyway.
I remember a comment made by Martin Buckley about the guy who founded Excalibur, following a conversation he'd had with one of his old colleagues.

It was something along the lines of 'he explained to me some of his more 'colourful' views on politics. Let's just say that his love of pastiche 1930s Mercedes makes sense now.'

Car of the century, any century.

Just needs some spats for the rear wheels, I think. And another front light or two wouldn't hurt...

They'll sell a bucketload to minted Malaysians, not least because it's a local product and so exempt from the 300% duty that's levied on all imported cars. So honestly, it could look and drive like a dog's breakfast (and judging by Proton's efforts it will) but it'll still sell. They didn't make it with our marketplace and tastes in mind.

Holy cow Batman! how much ? 300% ? Lets say we have a 30k VW golf GTi, that makes it 90k ! Yikes.

I had to have a closer look as I love suicide doors on any car. The guy on the stand said that it would run around $250-300,000 dependant on spec. The 2 door model with a different front end is $150,000 and up and he told me there is one in the UK! The 2 door has a rear mounted Korean engine (possibly considered mid-mounted as it sits just over the rear axle with a big boot behind it).

Hideous front end on both models though.

That has got to be a re-boddied Chrysler 300C. Looking at that dashboard shape and the 6.1 Hemi Engine. Hideous car.
