So I've got my Tesco clubcard vouchers... nasty holiday or assorted other crap... or something up to 2K from Goldsmiths (clubcard partner).

Considerations - what might be an attractive piece to shift sharpish for near RRP so that I might put liberated cash towards something more attractive from the IWC stable.

Was tempted a wee bit back by a Portuguese that Dom had going.... such a piece is a nagging temptation now.

They sell Omega and Tag, so it'd have to be something from one of these. Might be worth speaking to Dom to get some advice (or even a part ex) but there'll be nothing that won't lose a hefty chunk the minute it leaves the store simply because 1) I doubt you'll be able to pay less than list as a non-cash buyer and 2) None of their brands are in short enough supply to be able to command a premium unused.

Personally, I'd buy a Speedmaster Pro and keep it, but then I am something of a hopeless fanboy for them...

Stuart - looked at said speedmaster watch couple of yrs ago in same situation as now... ended up getting a Tag Carrera Tachy. Chrono.

Try to get a limited edition, maybe a Monaco gulf if it's to your taste

With Omega prices going up Monday (this is starting to sound like a broken record) then an Omega can't be a bad proposition?

Also on the SMP James Bond, I'm told they are in pretty high demand.

saw this railmaster

and was reasonably taken with simplicity and being a bit different from what I think is the atypical omega.

Maybe need to see what Dom has for a tarde in ... otherwise it all might go on a duel fuel cooker from tesco direct... when my better half realised the value of my wee stash. Not that she can complain last tranche of my vouchers went on a Dior Christal for her.
