The "Bavaria" non-alcoholic lager from Waitrose is drinkable, if a little gassy. Made in Holland, IIRC. Becks also make one called "Becks Blue", though I've not tried it.

Unfortunately you are right.
Anyone remember Swan Light? Made itself into my local on draught. Lasted about three months.

I know they are not as good as proper beer, but Im not a big fan of soft drinks as they are too sweet for me. Looking for a nice cold drink other than fizzy water and ginger ale to quence my thirst when I get in other than, well beer I guess!

Certainly doesn't... It's nasty.

The only low alcohol beer I'll drink is kaliber - at least it doesn't try to be something it isn't!

Oh... and has anyone else had a chemically induced hangover after a night on this stuff? It's almost as bad as the real thing frown

Agreed on this one. I've tried Kaliber and Becks Blue, not a fan. Furstenberger low alcohol (0.5%) is drinkable.

Vegetarian sausages.

Sausages need meat to be sausages.

Beer needs alcohol.

Do they still make that st? yuck Personally if I'm not drinking alcoholic drinks(in a pub) I'll have a pint of lime and soda or an orange and lemonade.
