Hoping the PH collective can help me

My father in law turns 60 in April and my wife would like to buy him a watch for his birthday.

Looking to spend £500 max

What would you buy in this range?? Presuming with a bit of haggling we could effectively get him a more expensive watch.

He currently wears a Seiko with leather strap nothing special and his size and frame wouldnt suit anything too big or chunky

Help much appreciated

New or consider pre-owned?

Seeing as its a gift a think it would have to be new.

He is not really into watches and i dont think he would understand the value of a classic secondhand watch

How about one of these;

Antea Kleine Sekunde €480 straight from the manufacturer in Germany.

Actually, if he's not into watches, he won't mind a quartz, which will expand the options a bit.

My dad turns 60 fairly soon - he'll be getting a vintage Omega that was manufactured in the year of his birth.
