Came through T5 yesterday morning, the watch shop had two Deep Sea Sea Dwellers for a tax free price of £5k, down from £5,880. Good deal!

Don't really follow Rolex prices, are Deep Sea Sea Dwellers particularly rare?

Rolex seem to be good a hyping particular models (Green Milgaus or Daytona) while actually making quite a few.

They were rare, but are becoming more available now. They're a fantastic piece of engineering. I never understood the attraction of the Milgaus, but the Daytona was attractive before the speculators ruined the value of them with prices £6k+ now for a £3k value watch.

I saw one of these at the weekend in Edinburgh, nice, but a bit too chunky IMO (out of my price range anyway so not even an option!)

I was very taken with the black face Milgauss though.
