Just looking for a new watch and have narrowed it down to a short list. I would be interested in feedback from anyone who has had their Tag Heuer or Omega watches serviced.

Reason for asking is I have a short list of possible new watches from the above companies but have recently had my old Tag Heuer serviced. I sent it off asking for service, repair, overhaul, refurbushment as required. It was returned still covered in scratches and with colouring missing from the outer bezel. Called them and apparently refurb of casing and bracelet is not included in my £300 and I will need to send it back again and pay extra.

Anyone have experience of Omega servicing/ case refurb costs on a Speedmaster?

Never had a Speedmaster long enough for me to think about servicing costs. But, I did have my Seamaster Professional serviced last year at Watchdoctors.co.uk and for the service, reseal and pressure testing came to £81 inc RMSD back to me, plus turned around in just over a week.
