Basically it's a test all new PH'ers have to pass, 8 gallons of custard have to be consumed whilst riding a unicycle and wearing a fez. It's also used to prove things are actually real and not bullst. I.e someone taking a photo of thier new Lambo with a tin of Birds Custard in on the dash/ somewhere else.

Kind of like photographing your hostage with a copy of today's newspaper - to prove that it exists, and that.

I don't know the history behind it, something from Barryboys I think, however: If you come onto a forum claiming to have a Lambo, or fit GF etc, then to prove it you send a picture of car/GF with a tin of Birds' custard powder in the photo, thus proving said claim not to be fake.

Haha, c'mon, they're only asking a simple question about a PH tradition. Basically If someone on a thread says something that sounds or looks too good to be true (or thinks they detect a troll) then someone can call a custard test. This means that they have to take a photograph next to the said object (ussually an other half or car/bike of sorts) with a packet/tin of custard in the photo. This then proves that what the OP is not lieing and not a troll. Simples.

No you don't have to cover the car or female in the custard, although this is optional.

Indeed. It was 'squelch', mainly.

All we can get locally is the Ambrosia stuff. Proper Bird's requires ordering...

Well its a fairly philosophical question you are asking there. What am I all about? Well just plodding thought life trying to earn enough to buy the toys I want and the cars I want. Where did I come frome? Nottingham Originally.
