Just wondering whether there would be any interest in a FDR gastro weekend somewhere? (ie eating good food, not getting food poisoning).

Perhaps select a decent hotel in the countryside with a nice restaurant nearby.

Any interest?

I would probably be up for this, presume better halves also welcome? We would need a babysitter but that shouldn't be a problem. Would be great to find somewhere between Bristol and London not far off the M4 corridor from my point of view smile

Aren't there gastro weekends that hotels do that we could sign up on masse to?

How about a nice midweek break with Raymondo?

Just the small matter of finding the £650...

Is this going to be a "wags" outing or can singletons come as well?

Somewhere with a big car park, for lunch? an eat and greet/run and bun?

Hestons Pub? - Bray - Has a big car park across the road and likes his big BMW's, prices not unreasonable.

Hand and Flowers - Marlow- £10 lunches. Parking provided. Great value and food.

I think it was identified as oyster poisoning in the end.

Eat a bad one and you'll never touch them again. (VOE)

Shame, since I like them
