CLS 55 AMG - same engine as the SL?

I've tried doing a search but with no success. The SL 55 (2003 model)was originally said to have 469 hp but this was upped to 493 when they realised the engines had more power. Does the same apply to the CLS 55? Reason I ask is it seems to be able to lay up with an E60 M5 and beat an E92 M3, which makes me think 469 hp is on the lenient side...

Yes and the S55,E55,CL55 all give similar performance. If you want real power
buy a 600bitubo and upgrade it with Kleemann.
