CLK soft top.

I recently bought a 53 plate CLK in immaculate condition, and would like to hear from any members who can offer advice on cleaning/maintaining the hood. There's nothing wrong with it at the moment, but I just want to make sure that it stays trouble free!

Don't wash it with 'soap' - hoover carefully.

Brush it, use a 3M sticky lint roller thingy, hoover it. I do wash it sometimes before I proof it. But I am really struggling to find a good proofer so far, I have used 3M Scotchgard Outdoor, Mercedes 'penetrating' spray and Autoglym - all seem to be utter cr@p! Next to try is 303 Protectant, maybe over Easter if the weather holds.
