Summer trip - ideas welcome...

Hi,
After treating myself to a nearly new Cooper S yesterday, I'd really like to do some driving abroad this summer in Europe.
I've around 7-10 days, and I would like Amsterdam to be one of the destinations I visit, and also Nurberging. Ideally 3 or 4 different stops would be good, and I don't want to do astronomical milage.
Anyone any suggestions for routes or great driving roads along the way?
