Firstly - I know very little about watches.

I have recently been given an Omega Constellation (I think c1960s) silver and glod bracelet and a black face with an observatory engraved on the back. I have no intention of parting with it but wondered about value and about specifying it on my house insurance - Does anyone know?

I'll try to get pics up later but if anyone has any ideas about it I would really appreciate it.

Also, I need a battery for it does anyone know anywhere good in York?

A specialist watch forum would probably be a better bet for something of that sort.

can't help for watch places in York no direct experience however there are a couple of very nice watch dealers near the top of the shambles .

Batteries are usualy easy to change yourself without too much hasle. especialy if its a snap on back

Omega might appreciate a photo of yours since they have a photo of almost every other watch on the website, but strangely only a drawing of yours.

Thanks Guys. Much appreciated.

I can't believe I didn't see it on the Omega site. Odd.
