As I am spending most of good Friday in them I need some recommended watering holes. I know about the Evil Eye, Yorkshire Terrier, Pivo, Bobo lobo and The Biltmore/Oscar's.

Any other must-see boozers for me to try?

Pretty good choices you have there already but i would add - Harkers is good for a pint and usually where i start a night out, Plonkers is another favourite of mine and Vudu and Kennedys are good for later on.

If you need more! there's always Vodka Revolution, Orgasmic and Pitcher & Piano all next to each other and by the river - good if the weather's nice.

Oscars is more of a restaurant by the way, and very good one at that in my opinion - you won't leave there hungry anyway!

HTH & enjoy drink

1331 is nice upstairs for a change. As said before, kennedys and Vudu are a good option too. Might be worth posting this in the Yorkshire forum too.

Had my stag do recently in York and was introduced to Evil Eye which I thought was fantastic. The rest was a bit hazy.. wink

We also did the York Brewery tour to break things up a bit.

Often stop off for a quick jar inbetween trains at the Malting near the station, nice olde worlde pub with a good selection of real ale.
