Here's mine, filthy after the school run. Chap came up to me in the petrol station today and asked if I would sell it, then berated me for driving it in the rain. I said it gets used every day in all weathers, gets Waxoyled and lovingly looked after - why store it away?

Arrghh ......salt. It will be orange in a few weeks . ! Wish I could be brave enough to do that !

Back in the 70's a guy at work had one of those. Think the gearbox went bang and it cost him £1000 way back then IIRC. Love the shape though
Very interesting - luckily I have 2 spare gearboxes. Although that does sound unfortunate, they have a pretty strong mechanical reputation.

Total production, left and right hand drive combined was about 1200, and I believe 140 odd were sold in the UK.

Small project on my Evo2: replace the wheel badges (nicked), Lancia shield and HF badge (weather worn) and polish up the chrome grille. Amazing how seized up things can get over time. Removing and refitting was quite a hassle.

Before:

After:

May as well give the rest of it some TLC while I'm at it:

Now waiting for my HF mats. I won't want to drive it if I carry on this way so best stop there.

Looking good...

Your earlier pic has been eating away at me - when I bought mine i intended to use it all the time, but as it is so well preserved, I've ended up keeping it too clean...

Very tempted right now to take off the 17" wheels; put back on the originals, fit winter tyres and hope for snow!

Andrew Smith of UK distributor posts on here, and that's how I made contact.

Funny you should say that. I took a look at it this morning in sub-zero temperatures and thought back to this thread and the dire warnings about salt. Left it at home and immediately regretted it!

The rather special Thema turbo I owned on a trip to Italy. Sadly succumbed to rust, with more welding needed than I had time or inclination to do but it was a beautiful thing to drive. Lowered, stiffened, body-kitted and a heavily breathed on engine. I still miss it!

Some lovely Lancias in here. I'd love to have my Giallo sat next to a countach but she sits alongside a Mk1 ford Cortina :-)

I know this isnt an italian thoroughbred, but this is the Lancia's stablemate - hopefully some of the classic enthusiats might appreciate it (I restored it from a wreck!)

I have 2 S1 Fulvia coupes here in Glos but I'm unable to load any pics.

One is '66 (rhd) & the other is a '69 1.3S. Sadly, due to lack of space, one must go!
