Steering rods 400SE

Does anyone know the lenght of the steeringrods on a 400SE or if they are different in lenght at each side.
In the restoration of my 400 I have this problem that there is a toe out and not toe in. The left hand side steering rod is 26cm from the ball to the end and the RH is only 24cm.
Any ideas?
The car has been standing since -91 so it is possible someone has changed the rods.
