Watch repair in Epsom or Central London?
Discussion
Hi All,
I have a Breitling B2. This used to have a little Tritium dot at the top of the bezel.
Annoyingly, this has fallen off. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get one put on?
I'm not particularly bothered about whether or not it's specifically a Breitling bit of tritium - I can't see that there would be any real difference between one blob of tritium and another - and would want to just turn up, get it done and leave.
What I don't want is the experience I had of a couple of the higher-end High Street chains that I checked with in Basingstoke yesterday. Both said they would have to send it away to Breitling, and one said that Breitling would insist on a brand new bezel, which seems farcical when it just needs a little dot about 1mm wide glueing on!

Sorry, only just saw this. Can't really help. There are some local watch repairers listed in the various business directories you could try. It can't be expensive. I think the paint costs about £10 for a tiny bottle. Could hit ebay and try to do it yourself?
The independent ones in Kingston aren't very good; walked around asking if any could swap hands and they didn't seem to have a clue.

Kermit, have you tried the little place on the high street in Epsom? near the entrance to the ashley centre, and the natwest (if that helps!)
its quite a weird little shop, but comes recommended by a pal of mine...
edited to add, I think its called Hyams....

I know exactly where you mean. I took an old Oris watch in there a year or two ago. its quite a weird little shop, but comes recommended by a pal of mine...

It would've been very convenient to go back there, but the PH name and shame rules prevent me from explaining why I won't be doing so.
