I have a Tuscan Mk1 which hasn't been used since last year. When i came to use it the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. Have now replaced the battery.

On turning the ignition I get a diagnostic code: 0 And when the engine is running I get an EFI Warning stuck on. Cant check any of the sensor readings as it wont get past the EFI warning. Any ideas?? smile

I had this when my car was jump started. Turned out the ECU just needed resetting.

Press the button on the right that moves you through the LCD screens that switches it off temporarily. And turn off the warning bleep. That's what I've done. It gets reset every service and then you drive 5 minutes down the road and the warning is back. Anoying but you get to live with it

That sounds like there is a loose connection somewhere if it gets reset and still comes on. Also how do you check your oil temps etc?

Thanks peeps. I booked it into TVR Power and they have found an oil pressure switch failure and the ECU needed resetting. smile

Bit of an exaggeration. It works fine when it's reset but eventually I begin getting all sorts of warnings especially if I take the bonnet off or disconnect the battery or try and fix any niggles. Then it just seems if to give a warning everytime I drive it.

As I say I just push the screen selector button on the right and it clears the warning so I can read all the screen info. I'll get Power to check it when it goes for it's pre-Le Mans tune up next month but I had the same on my previous Tuscan and thought it was just one of those things

I have the same thing on my car.
It began on Friday, I turned the car on to move it after a 4.5 hour drive and this message appeared.
The car runs beautifully, a tiny bit lumpy on a very cold idle but after 10 of so seconds it's good as new.
How long do you hold the menu button for? The beep is driving me insane.
