Mk1 R-Ltd > Boxster S > GTV V6 > Mk3.5 Sport Tech Roadster Coupe

Looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a 5, albeit a little more grown up than my last one smile

I'm getting mine in black with Eibach springs. You will not believe the scale of the bargains available right now!!

cool

I've been looking on drive the deal lately and been really impressed.

Are Mazda still offering 0%?

What colour did you decide on in the end, and when do you take delivery?

The dealer I am with has managed somehow to significantly undercut the DTD price, I was amazed. So much so it almost became a no brainer to order a new car!

Yes they are still doing various good incentive finance deals.

After a bit of deliberation I am going with black, saw one the other day and it looked good. The other colours don't really do anything for me.

Now you've done the deal can you say where it was from? And what the deal was?

Just curious, like.

So significantly less than £16,500? Is the roadster-coupe - if so good going.

Whoa - no, when I go to DTD I get 17450. It's a Sport Tech Roadster Coupe.

Can see why you went for it. Great deal.

OT - Did you find your Boxster expensive to run? Just to pick up an 02 'S'. Well I'll pick it up if the price is right.

Congrats on the Sport Tech smile

Luke - for Boxster S running costs, check out my blog. Basic servicing isn't too bad, it's all the 'extras jobs/bits' that are!

Didn't have it for long, but no not really. Depends what you mean by expensive! Indie servicing is ok, I put rear disks/pads on it - think that was about 3/400ish. Tyres were expensive as I had 19s. Fuel was better than my Alfa at around 30mpg. Good car.

Remember to look at the invoices and think if it hasn't been done it will need doing. At 02 plate / 60k miles I'd want the car to be on its 2nd clutch as they go, disks to have been done in the last 20k, check condition of the rads at the front as they can go manky due to leaf ingress, the usual stuff.

And remember, spec spec spec!

Thanks for the feedback guys and sorry to take this off topic.

The spec is great. Seal gray. Turbo alloys. Body coloured transmission tunnel. FPSH, new tyres 5,000 miles ago, new clutch six months ago, 6 disc CD player, , PSM, part brushed aluminium gear nob and gear shift, xenons (I think), sat nav, one owner, 70,000 miles plus always garaged from new.

The owner lives in my block of flats and would have done a deal last week but he's been stuck in America following the flights going tits up. Will hopefully pick it up next Friday smile

That it does yes

But if you look at the Mazda Used car locator they are all more expensive than that one. Hughes Mazda in Slough have a Stormy Blue RC on at 17990 - and that is an ex Mazda UK car with 10k on the clock. I don't fancy having an ex staff car.
