Just wondering if anyone had seen or heard anymore than its being revealed at Stonleigh? I can't wait to see it and hopefully sort finances out to build one.
For those who don't know its the latest car from MEV, who I'm a massive fan of, most of what I know about it can be derived fron the title. its an exposed chassis and is designed to be economical (100mpg) but fun to drive.
I'm hoping its gonna be a plan built vehicle like the electric trike ... It's actually quite sad how excited I am about it lol

Spotted that pic on the total kitcar site. it looks pretty cool. I'm really hoping it turns out to be like a real oldschool lotus seven style thing, in that its cheap, light, nimble and economical (which is exactly what its looking like so far) I'd love it to be a real alternative to some main stream stuff.
I really like the stuff MEV are kicking out and I'd love to build a few cars they've produced, definately one of the top kit car manufacturers at the moment! The atomic's currently my favourite product from them because its so uncompromising and raw everything a car should be!
After that probably an Electric Missile
Shame I'm uber poor.

This sounds like a rival to the Robin hood Bullet that was at a show a few years back. I was really looking to it hitting the market and released but unfortunately it never happened. That was based on a scooter engine of 125cc but they were planning to build it to accept something like a 400cc suzuki bergman engine with a single seat. They claimed it could be built for £1200.
This is the only picture I can find of it. Does anyone have any other pics?

Hi guys, can confirm I will have the ECO-EXO trike at Stoneleigh(together with Rocket, Atomic, tR1ke, Battmobile, Missile and Sonic7). My demo is powered by a 400cc Suzuki Burgman engine. It's a great donor as you can have a 125 up to 650 cc motor.
Hence 100mpg or 100mph. Probably not both!
So, tandem seat, 2 wheels at the front, one at the rear. Very low c of g.
It even has the word EXO built in to the frame work if you look carefully.
I love it, it's crazy, but you will have to judge for yourseleves of course, come and see it and say hi. Sorry no pics as it is not ready yet.
Regards Stiggy

Excellent, can't wait to see it. I thought it may have been powered by a touring scooter motor, makes perfect sense.Hence 100mpg or 100mph. Probably not both!

Hi guys, it's nearly ready,
I intend to offer a comprehensive kit based on a Suzuki Burgman that will require an extra Burgman front wheel/disc/caliper. For my prototype I paid £22 on Ebay for the extras. Price is going to be £1999 for the whole kit, this includes suspension/chassis/steering/grp/alloy floor and bulkhead etc.
I have used the Burgman seat and modifeid the back rest so there is no reason why it cannot be a single seater with more luggage space.
Wheel base is 2050 and track width (centre to centre of front tyres) is 1420.
It uses the Suzuki tank too and the rear end is basically the single unit engine/swing arm so it is very easy to assemble. The rear suspension works very well as it is a progressive link system with the shock absorber laying flat under the seat. The steering self centres nicely and uses a direct link system that is operated by handle bars. The brakes are on one pedal as hand opertaed levers are not allowed for reverse trikes under BIVA rules. The Battmobile gets around this by having 2 rear wheels very close together.
All 7 of our cars will be at Mallory Park on Sat for the Practical and performance car show and then at Stoneleigh on Sunday/Monday, see you there. Regards Stiggy
