I was at VW UK today and happened to mention this very forum, and how great it was.

Anyway, as a result I was presented with a bottle of VW ketchup, that is only available in Germany and was born in 1973 to compliment VWs own curry sausages (again, only available in Germany). Over 425,000 bottles have been sold apparently....how very odd. Sadly, they didn't offer any sausages.

Surely this is the only car manufacturer branded food?

I've just cracked it open and it has a lovely spicy taste, very nice indeed.

VW also did a little Tobasco sauce mailing for the Lupo GTi when it first came out. The headline was 'It's a little hot.', complete with the bottle of sauce and a little brochure. Not quite the same thing I grant you smile

they are as good and bad as any other traditional pepper grinder. William Bounds make the best, which don't wear out like these.

It does taste very good indeed, and works so well with sausages.
