Black flag on final lap

So what would the outcome be if a driver was given a black flag with the checkered flag?

Arse kicking and cheque book moment from the clerk of the course..

dependant on the seriousness of the incident possibly points on licence or disqualification from the results.


I do know one chap who got the black and orange with 4 laps to go... got 3 of them then the black on the last lap.. ( so technically got the black flag on the last lap) got away with a bking.. which was a result as he knew dam well the flag was out for him, but as he was winning he kept going....


I almost had the same thing, got given the black and orange for 3 laps, thankfully the last one being the checker, or I would have got the black on the next lap... I didnt see the flag due to the bit of body work they were complaining about being flapping in the way

ive had the black & orange for exhaust trailing on the ground with 3 to go,last race of the season 2006 in 2nd overall in the ddmc & joint 1st for the championship, did I come in ? what do you think ?
got brought up in front of clark of the coarse, but no penalty
