Hi Guys during our 2 year build we havent really had time to post up. Skunkworkz, Chris, myself and a load of other mates have been hard at it as you will appreciate below. Instead we've gathered a load of Photos and info through-out the build and have now loaded on page 11 of this thread.

This build has been kept under wraps since we started and this is the first time these pictures have been released.

Breif history is it was my Grandfathers car from new in 1972, it stayed in the family until 1991 when I sold it. Then in 2008 I found it again with only 120miles extra on the clock since I sold it, but in a sorry state, I then bought it back, which is where the fun began.

Enjoy......

Jesus. H. Christ'o.

That is a beauty. I think I speak for all PH when I ask for performance figures and the full build thread ASAP. Top work, I love old Mini's that have been modernised. I hear these Vauxhall engined jobbies leave the other popular conversion, the VTEC Mini, for dead. Can you confirm? hehe

A mate had a ride in a C20XE mini and said at around 1.5 leptons he asked the driver to back off the throttle, as he had got the idea. hehe

Stunning would love to do a Vauxhall conversion on mine one day have been in a mini with about 120bhp and even that seemed mentally fast for such a small car this must be madness mine seems nippy with 55bhp lol

What make seats are those?

Stunning job by the way - really nicely done.

Did you consider going mid engine RWD at all?
