Well I've sold a couple of late (my U2 & 3717) but bought these to make up for it.

None of these pics are mine - I'll do some at the weekend.

The superb Bremont pics are of someone else's (identical) watch

and the Orfina PD Chrono is my watch, but the previous owners pics.

I'd wanted a Supermarine ever since I saw some early versions when a bunch of us from TZ-UK had a days flying & talking watches with Nick & Giles English last summer, but the recent release of the bracelet tipped me over the edge.

I've also been after a Lemania 5100 movement version of the Orfina PD for some time having had the Valjoux 7750 version a while back. The Lemania is a superb movement with the Chrono big minute hand (hidden in the pics by the chrono second hand)and the 24hr sub-dial at 12.

I'm well chuffed, hence my inability to wait until I've taken my own pics to blurt out about these two.

fk it, worth reposting the pics - Bremont are doing interesting stuff - I remember reading about your Bremont trip and it was subsequent looking that latched me on to them, very good, The bezel's very cutting edge - how's the lume? I'm in Edinburgh next week - I'll have to see if I can have a look at one in the flesh.

I watched the Orfina go - super choice - I'm a fan of the Lemania chronos, (I'm looking for a more modest Tissot Navigator single sub-dial at the moment) and my own 5100 is so practical - nothing beats the visibility. Very nice indeed.

Well done on both - tip-top.

Looking forward to the pics.

Fantastic pair of watches - that Bremont looks great (and the lume shots on another thread are really smart!)

Can I ask what the difference is between the Valjoux and the Lemania movements? Is it better time keeping alone? Welcome your thoughts on why you chose one model of the other.

Is the Dornblueth on order now....? smile

They are both, robust, reliable & accurate, but the Lemania 5100 as the "better" chrono movement giving a full size chrono minute hand as well as the full size chrono seconds hand + the 24 hour sub-dial at 12.
The Lemania PD's are "the ones to have" + I've several 7750 chrono's already.

Thanks for taking the time to explain - I am now a bit more appreciative of the first chrono pic now!
