'BRIGHTON BURBLE' RETURN 28/3/04
Discussion
Okay, in the interests of getting the meeting on the 28th March 'off the ground' and keeping the replies separate from the last gathering in Brighton, we have ourselves a new 'topic'...
STOP-PRESS!
Meeting on 28/3/04 is now to be at the Seven Stars pub (on the A272) on the west side of Petersfield:-
* Meet at Pease Pottage Services (A23) by 10.30 am.
* A23 (southbound) to Bolney Village junction.
* A272 to Petersfield.
* A272 from Petersfield towards Stroud/Winchester.
* Go through Stroud.
* Pub is located on the left-hand side.
Large car park.
Serves food all day from 12 noon!
Children welcome.
ETA Seven Stars pub approx 12.15/12.30 pm.
SEE PAGE 5 FOR MORE DETAILED PLAN OF ROUTE.
Edited 24/3/04.
Now I know cacatous will undoubtedly be disappointed that a visit to Harry Ramsdens is not on the planned menu, but Mel has come up with the following suggestion:
What is the general consensus of opinion regarding the above?
Big Al and I have another suggestion, if you're interested, but it involves a run much further west to Petersfield.
So do we want to stay local in Brighton or go further afield?

May i suggest a nice run to the pub at the top of Devils Dyke?
It was my first choice for the Brighton Burble but MM came up with another suggestion for a longer run.
The pub has a fantastic car park and food is easy etc as its a chain with a very large bar area and a kiddie amusment area should you have any of the blighters.
The pub car park also gives the most amazing view from the top of the (large) hill.
The roads around it are fun too for a nice long convoy.

oooooooh, can we get lost again? can we, can we
the only trouble with that pub is that it iis only a very short drive from town ( although by the sound of things, we'll be going round roundabouts for a coouple of hours anyway), and the car park gets very full at weekends. If you can get the car park booked, it woudl be posssible, but there is an overflow too. I did scrape the exhaust getting in that bit last time - full of pot holes.
And, apparently, there is a lot of Stan Collymore style 'dogging' in the area too. Don't know how we all feel about that...

What's your point?
watch her podie - she enjoys having her boot in your groin when you are in a compromised position.

Yeah, but;
a) you were flaunting it...
b) it had a "for sale" sign on it... (noticed that Mel was the one pimping you by the way! )
