Anyone getting an SLS?

Just wondering really. I know ecurie25 are getting one of the first in the country, and I have a trip from Wakefield up to the wilds of Scotland planned as soon as i can take it out.

I know the looks divide opinion, but i think it looks incredible, and can't wait to drive it.

So, any lucky PHers getting one?

There's just something about Mercedes' which fail to inspire me. I'm sure the SLS will be a good drive and exterior-wise it looks pretty decent. The interior bores me though.

Beef, you seem to have the inside line on all things ecurie...

• Is the ecurie order actually confirmed?
• When is the arrival date? I haven't seen anything about an unveiling yet and they seem to get those sorted pretty quickly, 599, R8 V10 Spider and 458 to name a few examples...
• Will it be based at their HQ or available primarily from the Wakefield branch?

As far as i know the Wakefield branch have a confirmed order, for delivery in September.

That's all i know so far, but it's definitely coming, and will be an early delivery.

I imagine it'll be at Wakefield at first, then will move down to London after a while.

If its September then its not one of the first. The first cars are being delivered as we speak, and my business partners build date for his SLS is next week.

I'm on an MB Special Products track day tomorrow, which includes the SLS, so will report back on what it is like round a track if you like
