I can only make it on the Sunday. Went to the website to book tickets but don't know which ones to buy.
Can anyone help?

I've only ever had Admission Only and never felt left out. Its certainly not a major drawback at GFoS.

Admission only gets you anywhere on site. Gradstands are useful if a: it rains or b: its as bloody hot as last year. Also you can see a bit more.

Last year I went for admission only and didn't regret it. I toyed with the idea of a grandstand ticket as the view would be better (especially at the bottom of the hill) but decided against it as I wanted to be able to move about. If you buy a ticket for a grandstand and then don't use it for half a day as you are wandering about, it seems like a bit of a waste of money.

If you find the right place, the view is just as good without being in a grandstand. Take a walk up the hill, almost to the top and there's a viewing point with a makeshift wooden terrace near at the start line of the soapbox race.

The view is great as the cars leave the copse area on their way up by 'The Wall' and head round a flat out (for most) left and up to the finish line. Last year it was dead quiet due to a) the heat and b) it's a bl00dy long slog up the hill from the carpark if you've had one or two many pies like me!

pre-booked tickets only this year, they are not selling tickets at the gate.
